3-5 week intercultural training programs abroad
STEP Into The World strives to address the importance of effective intercultural communication in today's multicultural society. Our programs inspire and empower participants to become global ambassadors through short-term structured study abroad experiences.
Through rich interdisciplinary coursework, service-learning opportunities, a homestay, cultural studies, adventure, and exploration you build communication skills and an enhanced global perspective. Our programs are open to students from a variety of backgrounds and will be extremely beneficial to those studying to work in professions that require them to be leaders in intercultural situations, including but not limited to educators and health professionals.

as we explore the African nation of Malawi, also known as The Warm
Heart of Africa!
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Explore new countries and cultures
- Learn practical intercultural communication strategies & methods
- Teach & Volunteer at local schools and hospitals
- Develop new relationships and cultural insights
- In Malawi: Go on safari, stay in a local village, study Chichewa language, & visit community-based projects
